The first official episode of the video podcast, Bordello of Horror, is now available. The podcast is brought to you by the people at Madison Horror in Madison, WI.
Episode one, hosted by Freakshow and the Harlots of Horror, features the film Hospital Massacre. Hospital Massacre was released in 1982 and stars the lovely Barbi Benton. Barbi began her career on the hit television show Hee Haw. She has also graced the pages of Playboy and was a one time girlfriend to Heff himself.
The story behind the film goes like this. Divorcee Susan Jeremy goes to a local Los Angeles county hospital for a routine exam and through a series of circumstances finds herself stranded there while a maniac, dressed in a doctor's surgical mask and clothing, goes around killing all the staff are associated with her. Could it be possibly the psycho Harold whom killed a friend of Susan's on Valentine's Day 19 years earlier? If so, who is it since Susan has not seen Harold for all that time and there's no telling who he has grown up to look like.
The episode also includes an over the top interview with Ari Lehman who played young Jason in the original Friday the 13th as well as a performance by the band Killer Dolphin With Rabies.
Ari's band First Jason will be appearing in Madison as part of the Jason Unmasked Tour on Sunday March 22nd. First Jason will be throwing Jason masks out to lucky crowd members as well as doing autograph signings and a FT13 collectibles raffle. Joining first Jason at The Annex, located at 1206 Regent St, will be local bands The Wake and Killer Dolphin With Rabies. Tickets for this 18+ event are $6 advance and $8 day of the show.
